| About: |
I’ve been a part of WSOU since my sophomore year in 2009 and I’ve loved it ever since. I’m a TV/Film major but I thought radio would be a good experience and the WSOU staff members all seemed really cool, so I signed up. Being at WSOU is the most fun I’ve had throughout my time in college. Working at WSOU has introduced me to a lot of the music that I listen to today. |

Getting the chance to meet Lou Koller and Armand Majidi of Sick of it
all has to be one of my favorites since I am suck a fan of NYHC. The
first time I ever dj’ed is one of my favorites too. Going from a fan of
the station to working there is probably the best experience to ask
for. Another one of my favorite experiences is getting to know the
listeners because they are the main reason we are so big and I love
getting to talk to them
|
| About: |
I started listening to WSOU when I was a mini dodger so now that I work here its surreal. I’m just a hardcore girl from Brooklyn and I try to enjoy my life as much as I can because honestly that’s the only way to live. There are some dj’s who have a license to party however the Brooklyn Dodger is the party. |

and thats simple- the listeners. I like being able to play what people
what to hear and open their minds to songs new and old that they might
not know. Also, being on staff is pretty cool because I have gotten to
see awesome shows like Arch Enemy, Dragonforce and Dream Theater and
people on staff are amazing, hijinks tend to ensue. Plus what else

Nola for being annoying. 3) The one night Out of Babylon got canceled
after Vintage 80's and That Guy and I turned the studio into our own
concert. 4) Vintage 80's after-parties Thursday nights at my house
during the summer with my roommates and That Guy and the Jackhammer.
|
| About: | My name is Steve Stracq, and ever since I was 10 I've been an avid
listener of WSOU. You can thank my cousin and his old death metal band
for pretty much corrupting me by introducing me to the world of metal
at such a young age, but I wouldn't have it any other way. My major has
absolutely nothing to do with radio (Biology/Athletic training). After
a couple of wrong turns throughout college, I never thought I'd ever be
a DJ at WSOU, the place I admired growing up and could always count on.
But hey, you never know where life can take you. I don't know how to
sit still; I'm very loud and have abnormal amounts of energy at all
hours of the day. I'm all about having a good time, and I enjoy doing
what I do, and that's entertaining and making people forget about their
problems.

| About: | Colonel Terror is everything that embodies The Metal. In fact, before Jack Black, Colonel Terror was supposed to the voice for Eddie Riggs in Brutal Legend. Colonel Terror's band also opened for Poison, Slayer, and Wyld Stallionz. Rob Halford of Judas Priest fame also believes him to be the next big thing. No lies. But seriously, Colonel Terror is so metal, a bunch of fistpumpers got in a fight over him wearing a Slayer shirt to one of their clubs. |

it from Protest the Parco to Parallel Parco. Music is the biggest
passion in my life, but I am also an avid sports fan (Go
Yankees!!!). Along with my shifts during the regular metal
programming you can (usually) hear me on the alternative rock specialty
